"What are the odds of being Googled before you walk in to an interview?"
Slightly greater than the odds of being Googled 5min after one! This is something that I have feared for years and realized yesterday at pbc2: that the Personal Brands we create, sculpt, maintain, and pour hot butterscotch over are on the To Do list on some exec's Blackberry...

In lieu of this information, the social media reps of various pr firms provided great insight yesterday. To me, they spoke with only one commonality: they wanted to convey to us the importance of this seamless transition between who we are and our online identities.

Still, in Matt John's piece on stress free blogging (http://bit.ly/aaHVXv), i find some solace and look forward to continuing to write without the idea of potential employers scrutinizing each syllable on the screen.
